Question:

How do I remove coffee stains from a porcelain bath tub?

I left a rag soaked in coffee hanging over the edge of the bathtub to dry a few weeks ago...and have been looking at the coffee stain it left behind ever since. Scrubbing with Comet and a brush hasn't removed the rag. Any suggestions?

  1. bleach?

  2. Bleach should do it.

These are things to keep on hand for all sorts of stains..

    1.Baking soda

    2. White Vinegar

    3.Rubbing Alcohol

4.Degreaser ie: Mean Green, Greased Ligtning etc.

    5.Bleach

These household items, can usually get out almost any stain you run across.

  3. USE MEAN GREEN IT GOOD TO CLEAN THE BATH TUB.

  4. hair spray (believe it or not) gonna take a few time though but it works.  The Rave hairspray products seem to work best but I think they all will.

  5. Lime away gets any hard to remove stains off your tub, use gloves or be careful not to get it on your hands, it doesn't burn you or anything but it is harsh, I don't use gloves personally

That soaking the wash cloth in bleach and hanging it over the same spot sounds good to but it'll take longer

  6. club soda

  7. howd it get there to begin with?

  8. Wet a cloth with household bleach and lay it over the stain.  Check every so often to see how much stain is gone.  After the stain disappears, rinse the area with plain water and wipe dry.  Hope this helps ~

  9. You might want to try this:

    Remove Coffee Stains From:

    Porcelain Dishes, Porcelain Fixtures

Clean the stain by washing it in warm sudsy water or wiping it with a cloth dipped in warm sudsy water. Rinse well and wipe it dry. To remove old stain from the bottom of cups, dip a soft, damp cloth into baking soda and wipe any remaining stain. Rinse well and dry
