How do I remove dark stains on new clothes?

I'm not sure what caused the stains. I was washing the clothes before I wore them and put them in the a regular load of laundry. It appears as though something was in the wash with them or like they got scorched. Only three of the garments in the load got these spots. Everything else came out fine. All three of the garments were brand new clothing I recently bought from Motherhood. Any suggestions?

My magical mystery stain remover is Oxyclean. Spray it on, rub it in and let it set for about 20 min then wash again. If it didn't work, add some of the Oxyclean to cold water and let the clothes soak for an hour then wash again. Whatever you do, don't put them in the dryer because the stains will be harder to remove.

You could try soaking overnight in tepid water with plenty of salt.

Then wash in normal way.
