Question:

How do I remove emblem adhesive from my car?

The emblems on the back of my car came off this past weekend and we've tried everything to get the left over adhesive off! We've tried WD40,gasoline,goo-gone and pretty much anything else you can think of. We've even tried the stuff that you can buy at AutoZone that's supposed to remove it. Anyone have any other ideas? I'm stuck!!

  1. First take a hair dryer to the adhesive until it is soft, then use WD-40.  I always take the dealer stickers off my vehicles and it works every time.  Once it is off, use some wax on the area to finish the job.  Good Luck.

  2. use lacquer thinner.
