How do I get the Bruce Everwood glue off of the top of my wood floors?

The installer walked around on the floors after he glued them down and I have about 300 square feet of new wood floor with hardened glue spots all over it.

I called and his number is disconnected. I called the BBB and they said he is not listed as having a business license-I guess he just had business cards. Now this small project has become a mess. I have tried water and wood cleaner, but this glue is stuck like tar on these floors.

  1. goof off

  2. try white spirits,or meths,warm it up first{warm not hot}

  3. Try some ice first and a credit card or something flat. Maybe something that would shrink it and then it would flake off. Hope this helps. That stuff that you use for vomit in the school comes in a silicone plastic jar now.  It's white itsy bitsy crystals. That might do the trick. When all else fails, call a guy thats in the yellow pages, or the hardware store. That's what I do.  Maybe HomeDepo or Lowes.

  4. Got money? Pay someone to do it.
