  1. Check out the remarkable research on toxic mold removal done by environmental expert Dr Ed Close. Simply diffusing a therapeutic-grade essential oil regularly in this building will likely result in an environment very hostel to mold.

You might consider using the Thieves Household Cleaner that Dr Close suggests for his remediation clients. Also, diffusing Thieves Oil for long term protection, for great health benefits to you, and simply to make your place smell good.

Personally, I'd avoid bleach... the EPA is now saying that it shouldn't be used for mold control.

  2. consider removing the affected walls and replacing.

  3. I added some links that give a number of ways to remove mold.  One thing to remember, if it is a painted wall and you rub off/through some of the paint...Allow the wall to dry completely and re paint.  Wall must be very dry.  If you have a vent in the bathroom, you might want to run it when you shower or take a bath to clear up some of the moisture.

  4. use a bleach product like Tilex or anything similar that is designed to kill molds, spray the area and let them sit for 10 minutes or longer and then rinse off.  Try to keep the area free of moisture by turning on the fan while showering, letting the air out.

  6. pure bleach will kill the mold , wet a sponge mop or a cloth and rub the spots . Make sure that the window is open or a fan is on .
