How do I remove my rear seat on my yamaha 2000 r6

Question

I just bought a 2000 yamaha r6 for a killer deal. I know this is pretty dumb, but how do I remove the rear seat.

I have also found out that there are two different type of exhaust systems.

(1) pretty standard. Right off the showroom floor. You can have your passenger pegs on.

(2) This is the one I have, The Pipe is actually closer to the seat which does not allow you to have the rear pegs on...

My question is; is there anyway to attach rear pegs without having to install a new exhaust?? And How do you remove the rear seat?? The pipe I have is a carbon fiber Mansoon???(I tried to do some research on this and I think they went out of business.) Has anyone ever heard of them?? (Other than the g*y name, the pipe sounds great.)

I thinks it a key lock near the seat is it not.

If so, it will be the ignition key.
