  1. 1. Try to unsubscribe through:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. (GROUPNAME-owner@yahoogroups.com)

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

    3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

    4. Contact yahoo customer care:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  2. Just enter a subject in the "search for questions" box, then click on one of the links under the lists that appear or click on "answer" at the top of the page. When you do the latter, the groups will be listed on the left hand side. They also have sub-groups so you would need to follow the links after that.

    Oh - ignore my answer - I was referring to Q & A

  3. Go to "Edit Groups" and click on Remove on the group you want to leave.

  4. Please remove hambone41@verizon.net from the NaNoWriMo group

  5. This is how to be instantly removed from that group:

Sign in to the group that you want to leave.

Near top of page, click "Edit Membership".

Scroll down to bottom of screen and click "Leave Group".

You will be asked if you are sure you want to leave the group.  Click on "Leave Group".

You will be instantly unsubscribed from the group at that point.

You will continue to receive any messages that still remain in the Yahoo email server until all of those are sent out. Then you will not receive any more from the group.
