  1. My granny showed me this..you take baby powder and put it on the stain and kind of rub it in.Let it sit for a day or so then wash it.It works for me,Ihope it does for you too!

  2. wash them in dawn dish soap. It is a degreaser.  It may take 2 times but it will work.

  3. i got this tip from a friend who owns a laundromat & honest to god, it's the best thing i've ever used on grease stains old and new.

    WD-40. yes, WD-40.

in order for grease to be removed from clothes, it needs to be reconstituted into a liquid again for anything to lift it off. otherwise it is too bound into the fabric to really totally come out. this is where WD-40 comes in.

put something behind the layer with the stain so this doesn't soak thru to the back layer of clothes. spray a bit of the WD-40 on each of the grease stains...then get some Dawn (or any dishsoap really since now it can work to degrease the WD-40 out) & put it on top of the WD-40. rub it in a little so it soaks in well (no need to scrub anything or do anything else.) then toss it in the wash & launder as usual.

i have used this on clothes that had year old, been-through-the-dryer oil or grease stains. it has worked for each and every one of them. it may need a second run of this if it's a particularly stubborn stain, but i've never had to do this more than twice. my brother now uses it on his work clothes - he's a chef and gets cooking oil on his clothes constantly.

  4. try the baby powder . Put on stain leave an hour or two and shake then rewash.
