How do I remove or clear a vertical green patch at one edge of my Samsung LCD TV?

There is a vertical green patch that suddenly started appearing on the left side of my LCD TV. The patch has a width of 1 to 2 cm.

Pls any idea how it can be cleared or do I need to consult a dealer?

Patch?  a vertical bar from top to bottom?  If so it's either going to be a t-con circuit board if its available--otherwise the the LCD display panel (with  a new T-con) would need to be replaced.  I hope its under warranty because if the tcon is not available seperatly then a panel out of warranty would cost more than a new set.
