How do I remove "worm.win32.netbooster without internet?

So, I looked at all the answers on another question, and all the suggestions involve using the internet to download certain antivirus software to kill the "worm.win32.netbooster" virus, which is really a Smitfraud application, but I don't have any internet! I'm using someone else's computer right now. I thought of using my flash drive so I could put the program on there, but my computer won't even register the flash drive! What do I do??

Try downloading and running in Safe Mode With Networking. It often prevents malware from protecting itself.  

To get into Safe Mode with Networking:

1.Log out and reboot your machine.

2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.

3.Select  Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.

4.When the login screen comes up, log in as Administrator.  By default, Administrator has no password.

5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.  You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance.

6.When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

You can boot your computer to SAFEMODE with NETWORKING and try to see if your computer will recognize the flash drive that way.

Downloading the proper programs on a safe computer is a better way to do this - and then use either the flash drive or a CD.

Be sure that you are copying the INSTALL file that is downloaded, rather than the program after it is installed.
