I have a black cotton dress that has small white designs outlined by red with one small red ribbon that circles the bottom of the skirt. After the first wash it was fine but on the second wash the red ribbon faded a litle onto the white design around the bottom of the dress. How do I remove this red fade spots from the white with out damaging the other colors in the dress??

  1. Soak it in oxiclean ( 1/2 cup of oxi powder dissolved in a gallon of warm to hot water) soak 1 hour to overnight, It will brighten the colors and remove stains, and bleeding.

  2. I just had a similar problem where the red stripe bled onto the white one.  I used the clorox bleach pen.  It has a broad tip and a fine tip applicator so you can control the flow and where it goes, and it worked perfectly to erase the dye transfer without damage.

  3. Clorox makes a bleach pen that allows you to control where you're putting the bleach--try using it on the white section, following the instructions on the pen.

  4. vainish oxy stain remover for  colors

  5. there is a product called colour run

i think it is made by dylon
