How do I remove scratches from glass?

My grandson has put some scratches on a glass table does anyone know how to remove them please.

    If they dont go away fo to autozone or auto part store and ask for the stuff that removes scratches from windsheilds

  4. you need some jewellers rouge, mixed into a paste with water, just keep rubbing it over the scratch till it goes, takes quite a while, unless you have a buffer(electric) like the ones used for polishing cars...<^><...

  5. If all else fails, you used to be able to buy a liquid product called Water Glass which you could carefully paint into the scratches to make an almost invisible repair. I bought mine in an old fashioned hardware store.

  6. You will need some 'jeweller's rouge' and a lot of patience.  Alternatively, I've heard that 'Brasso' and similar metal polishes can work if the scratches aren't too deep.

    go to an eye glass retailer,ask them what they use to remove scratches from lens,they should be able to help you.don't be to hard on your grandson,i have a 8yr.old grandson that lives with me,and everyday i see me in him when i was that age.
