I buy around 1/2 of my games used, so they have the stickers on them. How do I remove it without Goo Gone?

  1. goo gone

  2. rubbing alcohol, laquer thinner, nail polish remover, baby oil, soap & hot water, etc...

  3. WD-40 or a similiar product like Z are wonderful.  You only have to let them sit for 30-60 seconds and it wipes right off.  I used it on stuck on masking tape goo.  The tape had been on for months and it wiped off with about 3 swipes on the paper towel.

  4. try a very small amount of oil.

  5. Alcohol.  It isn't as easy as goof off, but it will work.  Soak the sticky spot, let it set a few minutes, then start scraping with your fingernail.  The glue breaks down & will come off.

Vasaline or anything greasy or oily will work too.  Of course then you have to clean off the oily residue, back to the alcohol or dish soap.

  6. try WD-40

  7. WD-40 is a terrible choice, you'll have an oily mess to clean up afterwards.

Use rubbing alcohol. It will dissolve the sticker glue and will dry with no residue.
