How do I remove the Security Toolbar 7.1?

I have AVG 8.0 Anti-Virus and Spyware. I have tried the steps by turning off system restore, press F8 to enter Safe Mode. After I did that, I ran the system scan, rebooted normally and the d**n toolbar is still there with the two green tabs to block adware and remove spyware.

Be leary of many sites that offer you removal tools..

Download Spybot "Search and Destroy"

Download 1.6 ,,install and run...

Then Install Ad Aware,,

Thes two together will clean it out..

As I tell many people. Don't use Freeware when it comes to security...

AVG is poor protection......

Get a solid program, like Essets "Nod 32"

Best Antivirus software ,,,Costs very little...

With the use of Nod32 and Spybot "Search and Destroy"

Your system will run trouble free.

okay what you have to do, is go to "My Computer" and find the link on the taskbar that says "Add and Remove Programs" once their find your annoying toolbar and click "Remove" or "Uninstall" whichever one is listed and it should delete =]
