How do I remove the date from my pictures on a coolpix camera?

I was wondering how I remove the date from my pics everytime I take a picture. I'm using a nikon coolpix L3

To remove that ugly 'Date Imprint', you need to go into the SETUP MENU. Then scroll down till you get to 'Date Imprint', select OFF, press OK to confirm, then press MENU to exit.

i have a nikon coolpix so i'm pretty sure its the same set up.

turn the dial over to set up, click on date imprint and select the off button.
