I'm using safari in a mac computer. Everytime I time something a list of items that start with the same word appear as a list on under my search bar. I've tried everything and just seem to not be able to delete it. Is there like a way, just like one goes to history and delete the historial, to delete everything from the search bar so when I type something it starts from scratch?

  1. Try this:

    Clear what's in the bar.

    Double click the bar.

    The list should drop down.

Use your arrow key to navigate down the list one at a time and delete as you highlight.

It works in windows PC. I do not know MAC.

You can also install a cleaner to regularly clear it on the PC, don't know MAC.

    Hope this helps.
