Question:

How do I remove the paint on my PsP?

I want to repaint my PsP because I tire of the silver color it came with. I want to know the best/easiest way to remove the paint so I can repaint it. Also, I attempted to already repaint the battery cover with some touch up paint I got when my car was repaired, will this hinder me any?

I have heard I can use sand paper but I'm not sure how well I'd do with that with my little hands on experence with shop work.

I thank you in advance for any help given.

  1. I don't think you want to remove the paint, what you will need is some body filler and a lot of time. If you have never done this before. You will have to sand your vehicle to get any type of paint to stick to it about 800 grit or finer. But you should get a friend or relative that has experience to help you there is a lot more to it then I've explained and you wouldn't want your paint to start peeling off after all your work. good luck.

  2. OK you will need to use the sand paper to very lightly scuff up the surface so that the paint will have something to grab to.

Once you have done that then you should tape the screen so that you don't get any paint on it, after that use the Krylon plastic

paint. Oh don't forget about you controls otherwise you won't be able to play it again make sure you tape them too

  3. Stop, don't do it. You're welcome in advance.
