There seems to be a lot of nuts and bolts to remove.

Thanks,

  1. You will need to disconnect all wiring, pull pin from the shift shaft located under the carbuerater, remove fuel hose  and there will be several bolts or nuts on the underside of the cowling. It should pull right off you might have to coax it alittle with a bar or something.

  2. Hi  you dont remove the head without a repair manual to tel you exactly which nuts to remove. You may find that if you start taking nuts of you will hear a clang in the engine from somthing you have loosened.   Best advise here is to get the repair manual from  your local book store or even from the libirary....   Beleive me it will ease the pain somewhat for you.. also it will help youidentify those parts you have left over when you put it all back together.

BTW ,,,, if you use a bar to prize off the head be prepared for a big bill to have the head refaced...  Using a bar will damage the area where you need to put the gasket ...  believe me i have seen it ..
