How do I remove the rear bumper from a 93 Ford Escort?

Question

There seems to be an inaccessible bolt on either side. How many bolts total need to be removed? I've only found two on the back.

remove the screws from the egde of the bumper both sides , open tailgate , there you will find 13 mm nuts inside the back panel undo those and it will pull off  but be carefull when removing , you need to unplug the wires to the no plate lights just before complete removal , all the best
