How do I remove the spigot to refill a box wine bladder?

I have several bladders and want to refill them with water to use when boating. I haven't had any luck and think that there must be a trick to it.

They are made for one time use and put together as cheaply as they can for their convenience. If you were to melt or glue something it might create a hazardous thing.

I prefer 2 1/2 gallon empty water containers for water.

I'd say your best bet would be to buy a couple of those coleman coolers with the spigot.  They're only like $20 and geez, you're in for a h**l of a lot of afro-engineering and duct tape to get  those space bags filled with water and  working again.  Just do the simple thing.  This is the same difference between reusing a cracked styrofoam cup and buying a new $5 coffee mug.
