How do I remove the white on the left side of my computer screen?

it says desk top disk h, and desk top disk i. and all this other c**p I didnt put on here. I think one of my kids did it and I am so mad Im about to throw my computer in the closet till they move out.

How do I get that off my computer and how did it get there?

Find line 15 called "Remove Common Tasks from the Desktop"

Right click it and select "Save Target As..." and save the file somewhere you can find it again.

Find the file and double click it.

If you get a security warning select Run

Select Yes when you're asked if you want to add the information to the registry.

Restart your computer and your problem should be solved.
