How do I repair the chipped finish on my surf board?

If you are asking how to repair a finish that has been chipped, here is the way I would do it.  It depends on if the chips go through the cloth or just are in the finish.  If only in the finish (as best as you can tell), sand the area down until the chipped area disappears, then tape off and apply a coat of finish resin.  When it just starts to set, pull the tape.  Use very fine wet sandpaper and/or rubbing compound to smooth.  Then buff it out with car wax.

    It the cracks go through the cloth but aren't very long, this will work as well.  If you have longer spider web cracking, the board has been weakened.  Best you take it to a professional and see if there is anything they can do.
