go to www.ssa.gov/ssnumber and it tells you everything. You must fill out some paperwork and with identification take it to your local office or mail it in. It is pretty simple. Good Luck!!

The quickest way is to go to your local social security office and fill out a form to replace it, usually the first replacement is free.  Or you can print off the form from the Social Security website and mail it to their office.
