Question:

How do I replace the Donor Dot on a CA driver's license?

My CDL went through the wash in my jeans the other day, and the donor dot on it washed off. Now, I know I'm in the California database as an organ donor, but I was wondering who to contact to get a replacement dot for my license... anyone know? I went to their website and didn't find any quick links.

Thanks!

  1. Stop a any of their offices.  I'm  sure they'll help you out.

  2. Just walk into any department of motor vehicles office and they will help you out.

  3. The DMV is no longer offering the pink dot sticker for licenses.  If you are on the registry because you signed up online, then you will legally be a donor if the opportunity arises.

Next time you get a renewal, check yes and your license will have the pink dot digitally printed on it.
