How do I report someone who ripped me off on amazon.com??

Basically I bought something for 75$, paid 25$ for fast shipping. I got it and it didn't work like it should so I contacted him and a couple days later he gave me a return address for a refund. I sent it back and it returned to me because he gave me the wrong address. I had to pay for shipping again and send it back to him. This time he said he never got it and the package was returned to me with the top ripped off and the item missing. The tracking status said that he refused package and sent it back. I bought this off amazon.com and want to report him or get my money back. I paid via a gift certificate btw. I sent him an email a couple weeks ago and he hasn't responded back since.

  1. Hi, at this point you definitely need to contact Amazon.  You can either write them an email or you can ask them to contact you by phone.  Amazon has very strict policies about customer service and if that seller has too many complaints, amazon will go ahead and suspend that seller's privilege from selling anymore.  I think at this point you have done all you could to deal with the seller and if he isn't being receptive to your emails and complaints, then you need to go ahead and deal with amazon.  I know that there is a key under 'contact us or help' where you can just type your phone number and a representative will call you almost immediately.  Good luck to you and I hope you are able to get your money back not only for the product, but for all the extra shipping and handling that you had to pay for.
