Question:

How do I research a remedial reading idea?

The idea is at www.geocities.com/carjug . It is a color-code for the vowel sounds of English. It works for slow decoders but not for dyslexia, and should be useful as a dyslexia screen, (If reading speed improves after 15 minutes, then the subject is not dyslexic.

I have no idea how to get this idea properly tested. I am not a teacher or researcher, and the only people who are interested in this project are the people with reading problems. Who can I talk to who would actually put this project in front of struggling readers?
