  1. Go to start, select run, type CMD and press enter. Inther command prompt type "ipconfig /release" and hit enter. Afterward type "ipconfig /renew" (do NOT include quotation marks in all cases) .  This procedure will give you new IP address provided you are directly connected to the internet using the IP address from you ISP. If you are using a router/NAT that procedure will not work. You may need to disconnect the intermediary router and connect the one provided by your ISP directly to your PC and perform the procedure above. Good luck

  2. Ask your internet provider to provide you different IP.

  3. IP address is provide by the ISP

ii can not be changed unless you change the broadband scheme or change to another ISP

    Select it as best ans.

  4. If you use DSL or a cable modem you could try (as mentioned above) resetting your IP address. Go to the RUN command, type "command"

    There you can type:

    /ipconfig

    (shows your current IP)

    /ipconfig /ALL

(more details such as when the current IP "lease" expires)

    /ipconfig /renew

    (renews your IP address)

    /ipconfig /release

    (drops your current IP)

Bell High Speed users need only reset the modem to obtain a new IP.

  5. Are you using a wireless internet connection or do you have a router? If you do, this is not possible. If you are connected directly to a modem, this works. YOu must set a static IP address for the Local Area Connection. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBvVCAPXs...

This will do it. I hope this helps ! Oh and btw dont listen to the last part of the video. where he clicks on the web browser...

    Not appllicable for this...
