Your Yahoo! Groups account has been disabled because you had

an auto-responder set up.

  1. Sometimes this happens if a Yahoo member sends emails to large number of people, Yahoo thinks you are spamming and does this to your account.

Go to the Yahoo Help Form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

Complete all information.  On Item #7, use the down arrow and select "Other".  In Item #8, type in "How do I reset my autoresponder status".

When all information is completed, make sure to click "Send" at the very bottom of page.

If the reply you receive back from Yahoo staff does not satisfy you, reply to that response because it is coded for their referencing.  Keep replying to each response to keep the thread (code) straight until the problem is resolved.  A lot of times, the staff member will go ahead and reset your status so check your group account from time to time to see if all is well.

  2. Sorry, but what do you mean by "auto-responder"?

Where do you use it? Is it in Yahoo! Groups or where?

    Please be more specific!

  3. this is a mail option- if you're using Yahoo mail, at the bottom of this link tells how to turn off the auto responder
