How do I reset my password on a router?

Hi =]

I have a D-Link WBR-2310..A1 Router.

I want to connect to it, but I forgot the password since I set it a long time ago, and silly me, never wrote it down.

I'm not very smart with computers, but if somebody is willing to explain it to me in a way I might be able to understand that would be greatly appreciated.

You can restore the factory defaults, by placing a paper clip in the tiny hole on the router. Afterward, you can login and set a new password.

Please do note: this will reset all your settings you've ever made, so it may not be the best solution if you've entered a lot of port forwarding settings etc.

open ur browser. and type this in

i thnk for d link routers the default, ip is

192.168.0.1           (< type that in ur browser)

and then enter password- admin

and u can change ur settings
