How do I reset my tv to default.

Question

I bought a rca tv model J25435 27" from a hotel and they gave the original remote, but I can't get to the menu to program the channels. and when I try it on the buttons from the tv, it just says "function disabled". Is there any way to reset the whole thing so I can use the remote and it's options to get all the channels? Or What can I do? I will try anything!
