How do I reset the firmware on my Kodak Easyshare 5500 printer? ?

I stopped it from updating the updated firmware version a couple of days ago and now my computer won't recognize the printer. I have tried to remove the Kodak software from my machine and re-installing it, but it shows the same error. I will greatly appreciate any helpful advice. Thanks for your time.
