How do I restore my iPod nano to factory settings? everyone said to click start-all

everyone said to click start-all programs-ipod-restore. but i cannot find 'ipod' on 'all programs' i looked through everything throughly and it isnt there. i desperately need to restore it. any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. plug your ipod in to the computer then either click on the iTunes icon or let it automatically go to iTunes. then click on the icon on the left part of the screen Devises and your ipod. Click on the little box that says restore and wait until all the memory is erased and then sync


  2. it's actually called restore


  3. connect your ipod to itunes, then go to the page for your ipod that has all the settings and there should be a button that says something like reset to original settings
