My boss recently purchased a bonsai tree in May. However, every since he bought it, it has been indoors here at out work.
I noticed it had spider mites, and we instantly treated it with a Houseplant insect killing soap, which appeared to take care of the mite problem. However, it is very dry; the leaves are a pale green, and crumbling to the touch. My boss had an instruction sheet that come with the tree when he purchased it, however it is very vague compared to the details you have listed on your website in regards to the care of a bonsai. So, I have a few questions about what we can do to restore the vibrant green color and how to save it. This morning I sit it directly outside for morning sunshine, and it is now in the shade (still outside). We live in Michigan, so I'm not sure if the humidity is something that will help it thrive or not? Should we leave it sitting directly in the sun for a few days? Should we even attempt to repot it?
Also, what other quick tips can help it?
