I went to Florida on a family vacation and purchased a camera at a Target store. Two days later, the camera broke and I returned it to the store, but exchanged for another. Now, the second camera also broke, but I live 1500 miles from the store and lost the receipt. What do I do?

  1. i think you can take it to any Target store.... but since you don't have the receipt they probably won't exchange it.....

  2. i think with their strick return policy, you might just be out of luck unfortuntely. they are are pretty picky.

    good luck!

  3. You could buy the same exact model number at your local Target and a day later give them back broken camera. BUT if neglect was on your part they will not exchange it. People are not stupid. They will know if you screwed it up. Hey, breaking 2 cameras in 1 week?

  4. ohhhhh dangg...well you really need the receipt the only way is you go back so they can look up the camera series on their computer cause they're many targets everywhere with different information and they're th one that only have the camera series.buy a new camera. buy the sony touch i have that one it really good  and it touch orthe canon it really nice taked smooth pictures. the sony is 300 and canon is 200

  5. you can return to any Target store, is there any target store near ur place?  Or else go to target website and contact the Customer Service.  I think they will help you out.

  6. they cant change it without the receipt anyway, but if you had that you should be able to go to your closest store and change it. Or mail it back to the original store of purchase.

  7. Well if you lost the receipt.....

Unless you paid by credit card, you probably have a chance to argue with Target to refund/exchange you for another one.  If you find the receipt go to *ANY* Target store.  They should be able to refund/exchange the camera without any problem.

  8. You can TRY going to the Target store near you and explaining the situation, and they MIGHT do an exchange, if not, there really isn't much you can do.

Unless you purchased it with a credit card, debit card, or check. In that case, it's all on computer and you can acess it from any store. If you know the account number of your card, or if you paid by check, the information of the check [check number, account number, routing number, etc.]

  9. Seeing that Target in a chain store I would think you can take the item back to any Target store and not just the one you bought it from

  10. If you purchased your camera with a credit card or debit card you might be able to exchanged it by giving them the card you used. If you used a check, you might still be able to exchanged it - asked them. But if you paid cash, you certainly need the receipt to exchanged it or return it.

  11. if you lost the reciept

    ure screwed

    try calling the camera's warranty

  12. You could possibly contact the company who made this camera. They might be recalling them.
