How do I return or exchange something without a receipt. I got it as a gift, so I dont have a receipt, but I know where the person bought it. Its a espresso maker from Sears. Its damaged, and I want a new phone. Will they think I damaged it? How do I get an exchange? How do I tell them this? is it possible?

  1. i dunt think so if u  cud return it

  2. Why don't you see if the person who bought it still has the receipt.  Does it have a warranty?  If you don't have the receipt and you didn't fill in and send in the warranty slip you might be out of luck.  It also depends on how long ago it was bought.  You could try, though, and they might give you a Sears gift card instead of a refund.  Good luck.

  3. Sears should be able to determine whether or not you damaged it or not. They are going to give you store credit for it because you dont have a receipt.  Even if it was you who damaged it, they will most likely give you the credit anyway because the customer is always right
