How do I revert back to non-HD setting on PS3?

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend selected an option at the set-up of his PS3 to enable HD useage. Since he selected this he cannot use it on our normal television which he had previously used before he purchased the HD cable. Any idea how he can go between normal and HD? Hope somene out there can help me, I want my TV time back ha ha Thanks.

Connect it to a HDTV, then change the settings back.

Its in the menu, change it to the lowest option.

you could just plug it in to a hd tv & set it in the settings. or use the rest pin on the back of the machine this is a hard reset button that they do not tell you about in the manual & should reset the machine to the factory settings.
