I would like to know how I revert back to the old format of the My Yahoo. I do not like the new format and want to avoid changing to another service if I can. All of the answer results are 1+ years old and are not applicable.

  2. The old Yahoo is gone.

These guys are no better at knowing what their customers want than Microsoft is.

I hope the buyout is successful..They deserve each other.

  3. They "updated" you, and your original page is gone.

This is like when Coca-Cola tried to force "new" Coke on everyone, even though it was inferior.

Go to the following page and register your disgust:

  4. I read on Yahoo Blog that they are retiring Yahoo classic as of 14 July 2008.

    "Retiring the Original My Yahoo!

In addition, we want to let you know that on July 14th we will be retiring the original My Yahoo! and moving everyone into the new version. At that point, access to the original My Yahoo! will no longer be enabled. The new version of My Yahoo! was built for you and similar to our recent advertising change, we will remain committed to improving the product based on your feedback."

  6. We must all move to Google now.

How silly we were to believe that "My Yahoo" meant it was ours.

    It's "Their Yahoo".

And they can play with their Yahoos all by themselves now, because I'm off to Google too.

When Ford sells you a car, they don't take away your old car, if you want to keep it. Why does Yahoo shove this new c**p down our throats, and not let us have the option of keeping the old one, if we were happy with that?

Yahoo is over. They are too busy fighting off Microsoft and Carl Ichan now to care if we all leave for Google.

Just keep your word. Let's all leave. Yahoo wont be surviving in it's present form anyway. Soon it will be a Microsoft subsidiary.
