How do I rewrite video on a DVD-RW with my Sony HandyCam?

I have a Sony HandyCam and I specifically bought the DVD-RW disks for it because I wanted to use them over and over again. I just finished a disk and transferred the video I want to keep to my computer. My HandyCam won't let me reuse (rewrite) over the disk. Does anyone know how to do this or how to delete the video on the disk so I can use it again? The instruction book that came with the HandyCam doesn't say. Thanks, your help is appreciated!

try  to re-format disc.

if still not working, do what JC's girl suggested above
