I can't afford to buy all new gear, and I'd rather not have random bleach splotches all over my gear...

PLEASE HELP!

  1. We have hockey wash pickup sites at most sports stores in the City.  Perhaps a large sports store near you offers the service.

  2. Here's an old trick that used to work. Upsets mother and confuses the neighbours.

Take all your equipment out of the bag and and lay it out on the lawn on a warm sunny day. The sun and wind will dry the equipment and air it out naturally. Use some of the spray cleaners on the worst of the mold. Should get rid of most of the problem without causing problems.

Hint: Don't do this on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Passerbys will think it's a lawn sale and all gear will be sold for a buck.

  3. ^^^ Tom has it!!!! The only thing I would add is if it has a bad issue, freeze it for a day or two the mold will die when frozen
