How do I save a DVD onto my computer?

Question

Id like to take a DVD disc and be able to save the movie onto my computer. How would I do that? I have one movie that was burned and one that is legal. Basically, I want to be able to take the movie from the disc and put it on my iPod.

if you search in google you can find many programs to install on your computer... but you need to have windows media player to be able to play the movie and then place it in i tunes or whatever it is then you can put it on your i pod

You need third party software to convert dvd to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert dvd video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

Then just follow below steps to add video on ipod

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

iPod can only support mpeg4 video. you should convert the DVD files to iPod format, iPod just accepts MPEG4 format, I think you can try wondershare dvd to ipod ripper to help you , my friend recommend, it works quite well.

I have used E.M.
