Question:

How do I save my bonsai tree?

I got an 8 year old beautiful bonsai tree about a month ago. I watered it every 2 or 3 days. Let it see filtered light, and have trimmed it just a little bit.

One thing that I failed to do for a couple weeks, was not spray the top with a water bottle. I noticed this because the tree's leaves have become brittle and break and now it is beginning to brown underneath.

I have been spraying the top with a spary bottle about 3 times a day for 2 weeks now. It is still brittle and breaking.

WHAT CAN I DO?

  1. Compare your plant with pictures on this site and then follow the appropriate instructions for indoor or outdoor plants. Indoor or outdoor is determined by the natural habitat of the standard plant. For example a juniper is an outdoor plant and the bonsai MUST be kept outdoors.
