Question:

How do I save my digital cam videos to a DVD?

Ok, here's the thing. I've got a Samsung 7.2 Mega Pixel S760 digital camera and I've taken some video clips and uploaded them to my computer. I want to save them to a DVD but whenever I try to do that, it won't work. I'm trying to save them to a DVD + R (DVD Recordable) which has 4.7 GB of storage on it and 120 minutes. The files I am trying to add are 1.19 GB in total. There are only 3 clips that I want to add on the disc and even if I try to add only 1 of the clips, it still won't let me. What's the problem here and how can I fix it so I am able to save the video clips to the DVD? I want to delete them from my computer itself because they are taking up too much space on the hard drive. HELP! ... 10 points for the best answer, thanks!

  1. If you're just trying to write them as files on a data disk you shouldn't have any problem, as long as your drive is compatible with DVD+R disks and your burning software is configured right.

If you're trying to burn them as a video disk, one that you can throw in a DVD player and watch on your tv say, yeah you'd have a problem there.  You would need to use a piece of DVD composing software to set those clips up as VOB files, create a menu and so on.

Without more detail not much more to tell you

  2. I assume you have a dvd burner.

go to your dvd burner program and

use the program to burn them.

  3. install a free software call DVDFLICK and ditto.

    P.S. read the manual.
