  1. I want to add that modern Welsh people don't speak a form of Irish Gaelic.  When they don't speak English they speak Welsh, which has far more in common with Cornish and Breton than Gaelic, but is none the less a distinct language in it's own right.  Of the Celtic languages, it's one of the most thriving.

It's an odd thing to say that "ancient Welsh people didn't say nice things to each other"!!!  I don't know where to begin.

  2. Have a nice day Ivan is it love?

  3. "Ca da ddiwrnod , angyl" (have a NICE day, angel) pron. "cah DAH THEW.er.not"

"Hwyl, Cariod!" (basically "Goodbye, sweet soul".) it would be pronounce h.VEEL, cadr.YOD!

You have to remember the ancient Welsh were pretty barbaric and probably didn't say nice things to each other :) Modern Welsh people either speak english or a form of Irish (Gael). The two languages are very similar (Welsh and Irish).

  4. ddiwrnod dda i chi angyl
