How do I say "this is not fair" in a less whiny way?

I am writing a business later arguing against a situation. I want to say how unfair the situation is, but in a more dignified way. Any suggestions?

  1. Suggest an alternative that's 'win-win.'

  2. i agree that saying "i do not agree" would sound less whiny, however, if this is a business letter, i would simply state the facts as factual information usually speaks for itself.  if you're looking for a specific response, then you need to be careful as to how the letter is written, with the actual facts and NO opinion.

  3. I think the way to state it without being whiny is to just illustrate the unfair points without actually saying it isn't fair.  Allowing your words to paint a clear picture is generally much more effective and makes it easier to win the other person to your way of thinking.  The point is to get them to read what you say and think, for themselves, "hey, that's not very fair".

  4. Say that it is not fair, to you and your co workers, or this isn't the way to go about this in an equal way, or if you want to get dirty about it tell them this is f*cking b*llsh*t lol

  5. Say "I don't agree"

  6. things are not tipped in my favor

    difficult situation

    up hill climb

feel like I'm being held back

I would be able to come up more if I knew the details of the situation.

Added: what the poster said above me is good too.

  7. i would like for you to reconsider the _______ (situation or decision)

It appears that not all factors were considered equally.

I understand that X was chosen because.  However, it seems to me that the following factors weren't fully considered:

    1

    2

    3

and that these should weigh heavily in the final decision.
