How do I search for a specific word within an Excel spreadsheet?

I have a large Excel spreadsheet and I would like it to tell me every time one particular word shows up in a cell. How do I do this?

  1. Press Ctrl+F. Then you will got the find & Replace window. Type your text and click find. That's all.


  2. Hightlight the area you wish to search or click on a single cell to search everywhere on the sheet. Then hit <CNTL> F for Find. Enter the text you are looking for. Yeah! There is is.

  3. Go to formula on the excel tool bar. Then many options will

    appear. Click on Text, then click on search. Then a box will

    appear saying find text. Hope this helps... or browse excel

    help, by clicking on F1.  It also depends on

    what year your excel is?
