I want to keep it outside all year . I don't want a gust of wind or

a thief to take it.

  1. If it is sealed.  drill two small holes  toward the top in an inconspicuous place. Fill with water......... the second hole is an air hole to allow easier filling. Seal both holes  when fill with clear silicon.  Water weighs more than sand  and will be more difficult  for someone to steal. This in my opinion is the easiest and less costly method.  No  concrete..... metal plates...   sand...   fastening down   etc. If you need to move it  just peel off the silicon and tip over to drain.

  2. take a hole saw and drill a small hole in it and then fill it with sand.  then cover the hole up with a plug or some kind of cover

  3. You could have a metal plate cut larger than the base, drill some holes on the outside and some through the inside. s***w up into the base then pour a concrete pad and use bolts to attach it to the concrete. If it didn't come  with tabs for bolting it down.

  4. you could also do the same thing with plaster or cement.   I think sand would be cheaper though.  a small bag weighs several pounds

  5. The sand idea will keep the wind from blowing it away but a skuzzy thief can still take it....

It needs to be anchored down in some fashion.

  6. Need to know the shape of the foundation...if possible you could drill a hole in each corner of the base and bolt it to a buried concrete form you install below ground. Check with other statue vendors and they can advise you on specifics. Better yet, call the manufacturer of your piece for recommendations. They should have several suggestions.

  7. I agree sand is your best bet. You can get a bag of play sand at a home improvement store for $3 or $4.

  8. fill it with sand  the bottom i mean
