You need to get a license to sell insurance in any state of the union.

start with the easy stuff... don't try to sell anything!  try to fix a problem.  at some interviews you may be just pointing them in the right direction and setting up a future sale.  if you try to 'close' at each appointment, you will quickly see the future doesn't look bright.  'people buy from whom they like'

this may sound silly, but don't laugh any more than a chuckle at anything during an interview.  people want to know that you are solid and not flighty.  if something is funny, a quick chuckle and back to business...shows them that your time is valuable and that you will take their needs just as seriously.

if you listen to what your prospective clients needs and concerns are, you will find that you have a product that can make them more comfortable and/or enhance their lifestyle.

your best leads are always going to be referrals, so make sure you are listening.  one satisfied customer leads you to another.

Will and sell.you have the licence from irda.Better choose one company.i think u r ready to sell product means u r a agent don't know which company first put one stall where people are mostly stand put you product brouchers,if the people come to you explain the product what he needs.
