Question:

How do I sell my Trademark?

I have recently received a Notice of Allowance for my trademark. Meaning that I now am able to make and sell my idea accompanied with my mark. My trademark is "knock on wood" and how it is used in accordance with novelty sports items. I have tried tirelessly to contact professional sports teams and locate investors online or ask anybody who will listen for help.... But i'm out, have no clue how to proceed and whats sad is that the marketability of my idea is endless "although i know most people think the same about their ideas as well"... Any help is greatly appreciated and hopefully your advise will put the final pieces together for me(if this is the case, your help will not go uncompensated) . Thanks for taking the time to read this as well as for your consideration.

  1. Find a buyer.

Just because you think your idea is grand doesn't mean that anyone else will.

Frankly, If I wanted to use the phrase "knock on wood," I'd use it without paying you. You'd have enormous difficulty proving that someone is copying you and not using a commonly used phrase.

Sorry if that bursts your bubble. It sounds like you have creativity and drive -- keep coming up with more ideas.
