Question:

How do I sell or donate my kayak?

Ok, I am moving long distance in about 6-7 months and my little ole kayak is costing me $35.00 a month in a storage room and I won't be using it much before I go. I'd rather just get a new one later on when I settle into my new abode (moving is stressful enough w/o having to find more storage too). I don't want to just post an ad online, are there any stores or places I could sell it, or heck, just donate it?

  1. If you are near a whitewater rating company call them and donate it.

  2. Put an ad in your local paper.

  3. Check with your local stores that carry kayaks, they may buy or sell it for you.

Goodwill or Salvation Army stores will take it.

  4. if you are coming to denver i will take it

  5. I know you said you didn't want to post online but Craig's List is a really easy site to use and it is free to put up a posting.  You also have the option to put it up for sale/trade/donation/etc.  You never know, you might be able to trade someone for it and get something you need.

If you are in South Carolina though, I'd be more than willing to take it off your hands.
