How do I send a fax to France from the U.S.?

I have tried the international and country codes that I have found but it doesn't seem to be working...any help? I am sending it from a normal fax machine and the French fax # starts with 015...

  1. First, dial the international access code 011

    Then, country code for France is 33

    Then area and number.

    If, 01 is area code, skip the leading 0 and just use area 1.


  2. first you gotta set your fax machine to overseas mode, then use 9600 baud rate....then call 011+county-code+phone-number!!!

    and the cost is just like a overseas call...

  5. In a pinch you can go to places like Kinkos that do faxes. They will charge but at least you get it sent.

    The line you are using has to have long distance service.

    I haven't made an international fax in a while, but its about like a call...

    The phone book has instructions on how to make long distance/international calls. The fax is the same just use the fax number instead of a phone number.
